Have you ever snuck something into a meal and not told your kids exactly what they were eating? If so, could they tell and did they like it?

Minced carrots into meatloaf. My son noticed but I don't think my nephew did. If he did he didn't say anything. I think they liked it.

I'm honest with the kiddos about what they're eating.

All the time! Kale, Veggies, liver, chicken giblets, fruits...... That's what the blender was made for right!? None of my kids ever say a word about noticing lol

I don't think I've ever put any food into other food, without telling them.

Not that I can remember.  Although I often sneak onions in on my husband and he freaks out if he notices them.  lol

Not intentionally.

When my son was 4 or 5, my husband was barbecuing some venison at a neighbor's/friend's house. When we had dinner, my son said it tasted good and asked what the meat was. When we mentioned it was deer, he started crying. I felt so bad. I didn't think to explain WHAT venison was. Since then, he's had no issue eating venison. I'm not even sure if he remembers the incident.

Sure...but never intentionally sneaky...

I've added chopped carrots and celery to meatloaf, or onions or garlic bit tell them if they ask/ notice.

I've never done the cauliflower in the mashed taters or anything.
