2nd grader!! My son got his final report card this week and he did really well! I do have a question for those who can help... She sent home some sort of sheet and it said his reading level is DRA 24+. What exactly does that mean? I would ask her..but with school being out for summer and all...

Looks like it is a way to show if the student is reading a grade level.  24+ looks like, Mid to high second grade level.  Our school uses Grade, plus month.  Like 2. 6  2nd grade 6 months into the year.

DRA's are important in our school district.

 DRA 24 is a reading level at the mid second grade level.
