Do you take leftovers from a potluck when they are offered to you?

Not really, unless it's an extra piece of cake or cupcake, or fruit.

If they are offered by the person that brought the item. I thought normally with potlucks that people that bring that item will take care of picking up that item.

If its something I would or my kids would eat. We always bring home what we brought over, but do take extras if its like buns and or fruits and veggies We give away some of what we brought, but usually make extra to keep at home incase we end up with no leftovers.

I always bring my meatballs (never any leftovers) they go in 5 minutes. lol Usually a greek cold pasta salad, and spinach dip with pumpernickle bread and potato buns. And my chocolate fountine if there is somewhere to use it and a big old fruit tray or 2.

Depends on who's offering them to me and what it is.
