My dd needs headphones for school. It is one of the ladt supply items I need to buy. My problem is that my dd hated the earbuds and I cant blame her as I dont care for them either... Id like some that arent too big but arent earbuds or the ones that hook around the ears. ..

What is a good brand of headphones to look into buyimg and where can I buy them(online, in store)?

We found some kid-size headphones a couple of years ago at either Target or Wal-mart--they look like the "old school" kind that came with walkmans.  I want to say they are Sony brand, but I don't remember for sure.  They've worked great so far.

Thanks, I will look into Target. My walmart didnt seem to have any and the ones they did have where like $20 and im not paying that kind of money to have them at schoo where they could be broken or stollen.

my son needs cheap computer headphones for school, I assume we'd get the ear-covering style versus the earbud style. That and his composition books are all we need

SOmeone said they got theirs at the Dollar Store.  I forgot to look when we were there.  But I got some at WalMart for $14.99 - I thought they'd work well & given that they'll be labeled, I'm not that concerned about them being stolen.

We need to buy both kids headphones still. We will wait until the end of the month though. We will likely go to our local Microcenter since we also need a new computer monitor and microphone.

We need to get my son ear buds too but we are going to let him decide what he wants to use. Here is what I found:

We got two kids pair at Frys for around $10 each. I think one is Sony and I don't remember the other brand. Go to an electronics store as they will have the best and most price competitive selection.
