My 11 year old ds still insists on me tucking him in every night for bed. My dh thinks it's time to stop. I will tuck him in until he is ready to stop. How old is too old? I feel like they are only kids for such a short while!

Oh probably 12, if they still wanted it.

I will do a bedtime routine until my kids no longer care for it.

I've asked this question before. Keep tucking them in as long as they want you to! They grow up fast.

I still spend a few minutes with each of my boys before they go to sleep.  We've never done the whole tucking in thing though.

my daughter is 10 & still likes to be "tucked in bed".  for her it's a simple us kissing her goodnight after she gets in bed & says her blessings.

Yep. They will not want it as some point so why rush it?

No age is to old. My DD will joke and come tuck me in because most of the time now I go to bed before here, she is 15

As long as you don't follow him to college, whenever he says stop, lol

Oh Snap! I still have a night time routine with my 13 year old DD. It's different than the one for my 8 year old DS, but that's due to personality, not age. I wouldn't stop. It's not like you're making your DH do it, so he can just keep his opinion to himself.
