it depends, since df works nights I usually just cook dinner for the boys, and its kinda boring.

I'm hoping once we move and are settled to be more adventurous.

Its a lot of eggs, boiled or scrambled, hne made chicken fingers or fish sticks, veggies,, Tacos or nachos. Occasional pizza or hot dogs.

And df eats when he gets home.I eat separate
food. Yes I cook 3 different dinners

Wow- I'm impressed you plan that far out. I'm lucky to know by lunchtime what dinner will be that night!

We do a lot of chicken, simply b/c I buy the frozen boneless, skinless breasts in the 6.5 lb bags from Costco and it's so easy to defrost those in the microwave quickly.

Might have to try some of those items!  We seem to get in a rut at times.

My husband and I work together with weekly meal planning. There are some weekly staples, some dishes that I prefer making, and some dishes he does. Some we both work full time,so the shared responsibility is essential for any sort of nutritious dinner.

Tonight is a weekly staple: ham and veggie soup in the crock pot.

I make a lot of different things. I plan for a week at a time. I have tried doing it monthly or ever two weeks and it has not worked for me.

Not much of a cook but wish I was, so I might have to try some of those as well.  My kids have soccer practice twice a week, my nephew 2 other nights & the kids are usually at my mom's those nights.  Then on Saturday we go to soccer games & on some Fridays as well so I get out of the habit a lot of cooking, but I really don't like them eating out all the time.

I don't have my meals planned a month at a time, but I plan them weekly. This week so far I made:

French's Onion chicken, hashbrown casserole, green beans
Tuna melts, broccoli
Salsa chicken
Teriyaki chicken over rice and broccoli
chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, and scrambled eggs

I do a fruit each night, too.

My dinners for this month are:

Brown sugar fish with peas and rice

Homemade pizza with salad and bread sticks

Chicken curry with rice

Bacon wrapped chicken with cottage fries and asparagus

BBQ beef sandwich with onion rings and okra

Meatball subs with french fries and fried green tomato's

Tuna melts with fondant potato's and beets

BBQ ribs with mashed potatos and corn on the cob

Sweet meatballs with squash and pasta salad

Sloppy joes with home fries and grilled onions

Orange chicken with fried rice and zucchini noodles

Salisbury steak with mashed potato's and green beans

Tator tot casserole

Cod bites with rice pilaf and artichokes

Pork chops with baked potato's and brussel sprouts

Pot roast

Cheeseburgers with fries and roasted tomatos

Chicken pot pie

Philly cheesesteak with cauliflower mash and portobello fries

Spaghetti with salad and garlic toast

Tuna casserole

Pulled pork with creamed cabbage and pasta salad

Chili with cornbread

Taco salad

Dijon chicken with carrots and rice

cube steak with carrots and rice

And then of course Thanksgiving dinner and we will eat leftovers of that (or something made from those leftovers - casserole, pot pie, sandwiches...) for at least 3 days.

I would love more ideas for dinner, especially ones involving fish because we are trying to eat more fish
