I do not have the time, energy, or desire to make a menu for dinners.  I decide daily what we are having for dinner.  It depends on what we have going on that day and what I feel like eating.  We have a freezer stocked full of beef, and pork so having things to prepare is never a problem.  We also have chicken, but that comes from the store not the farm.

I am in the exact situation. It is soooo nice to know I am not alone in this one. I always dread dinner time because the kids are so fussy about their food. I am not a good cook  and would not have the time to make homemade meals when everyone likes something different.

it depends, since df works nights I usually just cook dinner for the boys, and its kinda boring.

I'm hoping once we move and are settled to be more adventurous.

Its a lot of eggs, boiled or scrambled, hne made chicken fingers or fish sticks, veggies,, Tacos or nachos. Occasional pizza or hot dogs.

And df eats when he gets home.I eat separate
food. Yes I cook 3 different dinners

Hm. I know what I'm making for the next week. There's some variety and mix in there, though, and some things get broken up to serve over two nights later in the month.

Friday: Orange chicken over brown rice, peas, and broccoli

Saturday: Roast beef au jus and sweet potato wedge fries with broccoli and cauliflower

Sunday: Chili with cornbread and carrots and spinach.

Monday: Pancetta wrapped meatloaf cups(will be split over two nights), topped with mashed potatoes, with zucchini and brussel sprouts.

Tuesday: Fundraiser supper night: Pizza

Wednesday: Stuffed zucchini boats, with peas and sweet potato wedges.

Thursday: Impossible Mexican Pie (This thing DH makes. Might be close to the Mexicali pie?), peas, broccoli and cucumber salad.

Friday: Rib-eye steak, mashed potatoes, asparagus and broccoli

I will tell you how I got such a huge assortment of recipies. At the grocery stores there are always those small cookbooks on the ends with the magazines and tabloids.. I always buy the Taste of Home ones.. On occasion the Bisquick or Betty Crocker ones too.. Then I promise to try 3 new recipies out of them.. My family will taste them and then rate it.. 1-10

10 in our house means "We will eat it any time any where!"

5 means its good and we will eat it occasionally without complaint

1 means you could stuff it down our throughts but we won't swallow!

And I only cut out and keep the cards of the ONES 5+

It depends; I usually out of 6 people make 6 meals in 6 different ways in total. My oldest twin has a food texture disorder. My youngest child has a food texture disorder so he has to have his food a  certain way. Youngest child is also lactose intolerant and a vegeterian who is also allergic to pineapple. My oldest son has acid reflux so I have to make sure he has the rights foods on his plate. Youngest twin will eat anything. DH just meat and potatoes for him, no spices for him. Myself just have to make sure no pineapple, and no peanuts in mine.

I usually cook vegetarian meals. Sometimes I serve meat, but it's not common.
