I think ds1 had that scale briefly at one point in middle school. Otherwise it's the 90+ is an A, 80-89 a B, 70-79 a C, 60-69 a D, and 59 and below an F.

90-100 is an A (or A-, A+); 80-90 is a B (B-, B+), etc. Anything under a 60% is failing.

When I was in college we had a 7 point grading scale. I was used to 10, so it was an adjustment!

We use a ten point scale. We used to have one similar to what you have. I kind of wish it was still that way.

No clue what it is yet..... She is in 2nd grade and they still use the 1-4 scale.

We've been on the Common Core scale for about 2 (maybe 3) years now.  They do the 1-falls below the standard, 2-meets the standard, 3-above the standard, 4-exceeds the standard.  It is not the straight 1, 2, 3, 4, but can be 1.4 or 2.6.  It took us a bit to get used to it when we changed schools, but now it's no biggie and we like it.

Same here
