My DS who is 8 has a friend over...this kid annoys me to no end. He smells (sorry its true) he is just rude. I have a rule no one is a allowed in the bedrooms, he goes "well in my house I am, and my mom says her rules go for where ever I am" UMMM NO my house my rules.

Its 4:20 now I said that by 6 he has to get going because we will be having dinner he whines "Well my curview isnt till ten so I will just stay till then" UMM NO you will go home when I say.

I just dont like this kid he whines, but I am bitting my tongue because I know my son does need more friends...but the stench is giving me a headach...

Vent over.

Don't let him over again, keep it to school activities only.

Wow 10pm for a 8yo. Sounds like his own mom can't stand him.I would never allow my 8 or 9yo out that late or over stay their welcome. Rude.

I dont even think the mom is home till then...his older brother watches him...his older brother is strange...reason why I would rather them be here...where I can keep an eye on them you know...I have always wanted to be the hang out house...

Just curious, why aren't kids allowed in bedrooms? Will he ever have a sleepover?

I was wondering to. My boys friends are always welcome in the bedrooms.

Everything is downstairs, there was no reason to go upstairs this time. Sleep overs are different case.

I find your rule but it is your rule. I don't like whiny kids.
