How big is your child's school?

We just moved, less than a month ago, and one of the big selling points for our house was the amazing school district it is in.

My child's elementary school has about 500 students.  Most elementary schools in our city have about 1000 students.  That is a difference of about 3 teachers per grade, vs. 6 teachers per grade!  So glad we are not in a huge school where my child will be lost in the crowd for sure!

Around 650 students in their elementary school. Less than 20 kids in each class.

Not sure of the actual number, but its a pretty decent sized school. They had 6 kinder teachers last year, and 5 this year but with a max of 20 kids per class, at least for kindergarden.

Oldest DS goes to a public school thats k-8 with about 950 kids. Classes are generally 25-27 kids. younger DS goes to a private school. Don't know they exact size buts also k-8 and I think around 450 kids. he has 17 kids in his class.

There is roughly 150 students in 1st grade at my DS's school.  Our school district is currently broken up into 4 different school.  Primary which is head start through 1st, Elementary that is 2nd and 3rd, Intermediate is 4th and 5th, Middle school is 6-8th and the high school.  My middle DD who is in 8th has 145 in her class and my oldest DD who is in 10th has around 150.  Our town has a population of 6000 btw.
