Does your elementary school have a tattoo policy for it's teachers? Do you know what it is?

Do you agree with it?

I assume not because a few of the teachers have them and leave them uncovered.

I don't know for sure. I'd assume that any tattoes are supposed to be covered, but I don't know for sure. I prefer that tattoes are covered but wouldn't make it an issue if that isn't the policy.

Don't know, don't care. Tattoos don't bother me.

Yes, they have to keep them covered.

I have tattoos and don't mind a teacher with them, but it being a Catholic school it's expected they'd have that rule.

I don't care if they have tattoos I am inked up and I work with teenage girls and very rarely are my tats covered.

I have tattoos as does my DH. Tattoos don't bother me. I do know that at my sons school, there is a policy. They cannot be visible. One of his teachers has one on the top of her foot and one on her ankle. She always has a bandaid over them when she wears capris or sandals.

I honestly have no idea and honestly don't care one way or another.  I don't recall seeing any teacher with a visible tatoo, yet I don't recall any teacher with odd bandaids or clothing choices that would appear to be covering a tatoo.  It's not like having a tatoo makes them a bad teacher.

Yes, the district where I taught did not allow visible tattoos for teachers or staff.

Nope. My son's 4th grade teacher has a tattoo on her wrist. His 5th grade teacher has one on her ankle. The school allows me to volunteer and I have visible tattoos as well. As long as the tattoo isn't vulgar and the teacher isn't showing off a tramp stamp I couldn't care less.

No, a few teachers have visible tattoos.
