My 8 year old Ds has been having cheastpains since the end of may. He have seen his doctor and also a heart doctor a few times. His blood pressure is 88/61. He weights 110 lbs...thats after losing some since schools been out. Should I take him back to the ER or just hopes its gets better?

Call the doctor and ask their opinion.

I'm not a doctor and won't pretend to be, but chest pains are rarely good.  Seek medical help for your child.

I would see another cardiologist. I would also request his records and take with me for the other doctor to review.

Did the doctor have an explanation for the pains?

I would keep seeing treatment until their was a fix or an explanation.

If the doctor hasn't helped yet, keep trying with another doctor.

You might also try a chiropractor (since I'm not sure where exactly the chest pain is - it's possible its something a chiro would help).

Have they done blood work?  Ruled out other issues like indigestion/reflux?  I am guessing you mention his weight for a reason.  Unless he is extemely tall, he is extremely overweight.  DD is the same age and weighs half of his weight.  It could be acid reflux that is causing the pain.

I'd be getting a 2nd opinion. A child that age should not be having chest pains that often.

The doctor thinks its because he has low muscle tone, and that causes it.

He has had two of them. Both came back good.
