My kids each have their own umbrellas for these types of days. It's not the adults responsibility to supply that.

Plus, that child is just one of hundreds that the teachers and principal are running to their car. Is the principal supposed to get soaking wet, risk sickness, and freeze just because the parents don't want their snowflakes to experience 1 minute of rain? No way.

The parent should be mad at themself for not giving their child an umbrella. I don't think a teacher should leave a group of children just to walk one to their car. Smh I just can't believe people really think like that

Haha..CM drama fodder at it's best!

Unless your little one is a snowflake or sugarcookie, they don't have to worry about melting in the rain.

SMH.. Even the 99c store has umbrellas.

Like my mom use to say, "shit floats." Joke joke. I tell my kids they aren't made of sugar, they won't melt. If this mom is so worried about her little darlings getting wet she should buy them umbrellas

Was it acid rain? If not I think the kids will be fine.

I love that the response was not to buy into the bullshit, and tell the mom to buy her kids an umbrella. I mean, it's rain, and how long was the kid in the rain? A few seconds going from the car to the school? Dress your kids appropriately and a little rain, or even a lot, won't be an issue.

My kids walk to and from school in -30 degree temps (+30 C temps too), dressing for the weather is the key.

It's rain...for a few seconds.  I'm sure they'll live.
