Thanksgiving? We are having dinner at home this year. My mom and her bf are coming over.

Which one? LOL

Today? I work, but DH and the kids are off.

Thanksgiving? We're having coworkers over for the big meal.

Christmas? My parents are planning to come down.

Sounds nice. We are going to FL as usual for Thanksgiving.

LOL.. I'm in Thanksgiving mode since we are leaving to go my mom's in FL next weekend.

Dh never has Veteran's Day off even though he is a veteran so it doesn't even feel like a holiday here.

I haven't even thought about Christmas yet. LOL My mom and inlaws will come up, but my mom has to leave on Christmas Day since she has to work the following day and I believe my FIL does as well.

Dad just asked me last night if I was up to cooking Thanksgiving dinner or if I wanted him to just buy it for me to warm up. I said I would cook but now warming sounds so much better! LOL

Dh is working too...he doesn't get Veteran's Day off.. I did ask him to get off a little early though as our dd's 2nd degree black belt test is tonight and we need to leave around 6:00-6:15 to get there on time..he doesn't normally emerge from his offfice upstairs until 6-6:30 so I think he will come down around 5 today.

I'm only thinking about Christmas because my parents are flying down (you can drive here but an hour long flight is just so much better than 10 hours in the car) and we have to book their tickets soon.
