Hello to all the 1st & 2nd grade mommies,
I will be the forum admin for this forum. Let me introduce myself. My name is Holly. I have a 7 year old son who will be entering the 2nd grade. He has special needs as well. My son's favorite subject is science and he likes math. He does have some issues with reading and writing but we've been working on that all summer long.
I am looking forward to meeting all of you and helping in any way I can. Let me now if you need help with anything and I will get back to as soon as possible. I check in at different times of the day.

I am jenni. I have four kids. My oldest is seven and will be in second grade this fall (we start Sept 8th). My second will be in kinder this year and then I have the 3 1/2 year old and the baby with me!! WOO HOO!!!

Hello there! I'm Lisa and I have 3 kids, all girls. My oldest is going into 2nd grade and my middle dd is going into 1st. They don't go back until Sept. 1st. We are all looking forward to that time, I am so ready for summer to be over with so they have something to do during the day. LOL.

Howdy, I'm Nicole..I have a son going into 1st grade. Trying not to be too worried. He has some speech delays and didn't always wanted to do what others did..free spirit? Adhd? He is on meds for adhd but thinking it might be depression,ect. Anyway, just waiting to see how it goes..26th and they start of Aug. Until next time:)

There is also forums for both girls and boys issues. Be sure to sign your child up for Pen Pals if you would like, can give some good practice with writing and even computer skills if you choose to do by email. Oh, don't forget the games, you're more than happy to post one.

Hi everyone. My name is Bonnie. I am a mom of 3. My oldest, Tatum, will be starting second grade on Sept 2. I can't believe it. She has no learning disabilities or anything. Reading is her favorite. She loves school. Hopefully it stays that way as she gets older. I also have a 2 year old and a 10 month old. It is nice to meet everyone.
Hi I'm Susan. I have twin girls who are going into 4th and my son who will be in 1st this yr. I am hoping for a good yr. He didn't have the best kindergarten teacher and he is going to be 6 in Sept so I hope he is not to young. I did think about holding him back last yr but decided to go ahead. He is very smart but is the baby and somtimes acts to young. I thought if he does'nt do well this yr he will repeat 1st again. I have my fingers crossed on this one teacher ..I hope he gets her. I did talk to the school, I just hope they listened. But we are all excited to start the yr. I work at the school supervising the kids during lunch and recess so it's nice to be able to check in on them during the day.
