So, does your 5th grader call you Mom or Mommy, or Mama..both, all, etc? My daughter still calls me Mommy at home, and when she refers to me to other family members. But, in front of friends or in public, it's Mom now! What about you? (And do you miss "Mommy" if it's now "Mom"?!)
My 5th grade son still calls us Mommy and Daddy, but when talking to his friends we are Mom and Dad.
My kids call me "imma" (ee-mah) most of the time (Hebrew for mommy) but if they need to refer to me in English is has always been mom, never mommy; even when they were very small. My youngest will sometimes call or refer to his father as daddy instead of "abba" but it is when he is being a goof or thinks we aren't paying attention to what he is saying.
My son is in 3rd grade and it all depends on things. He will call me mommy at school some times and some times at home. But when he is yelling for me its always MOM i need this or MOM i need that lol. But other than that its still mommy. :)
My son is in 4th but he calls me mom. Third grade is when he stopped calling me mommy.

I requested that my youngest stop calling me Mommy at age 5 it sounds babyish in my opinion.
my 5th grade daughter calls me mama and mom...but when she wants something she calls me mommy!!!
