So, I am so green with no green thumb and I want to create a garden.  Not even sure where to begin and where in my backyard is the best place to start.  I found this very cool website that has articles and how to info.  Thought I would share.

Btw, anyone know how to revive hydrangeas.  I bought white ones for my dinning table, they get morning sun from the window and I get the soil moist.  But they have turned brown and the petals are now more green then white.  They just do not look happy. Any help.

I've never grown hydrangeas, but I THINK they need to have acidic soil.  That might be what's causing issues with the flowers.

Is there something you had to make the soil acidic? They are potted. I am just so surprised that the flowers that used to white are now green. Thanks for the help.

Miracle Gro has an acid formula, or there are products at most garden centers to acidify soil.
