My kid is eating greens!

My 4-year-old daughter helped me make a vegetable garden this year, and we're starting to get some veggies. She helped me pick some snow peas, butterhead and green lettuce, and Persian cucumbers, and she gobbled it all up! Now she's begging for more, and I had to explain that we have to wait for more to grow. This is a kid who usually turns her nose up at anything green. Awesome!

That is great! You have a budding gardener! ;) I plant their own cherry tomatoes and snap peas outside of the garden so they can get to them easier. Every bit helps.

Yay!  One of the perks of having kids help in the garden!

Great! I am hoping to get my 7 year old to eat more veggies by helping out in the garden also.

Congrats!!  A great benefit for children helping in the garden, makes more sensible eating habits!

Awesome!! My 5 year old eats the cukes before they are even cold from the fridge! ;-)
