I'd just make fried green tomatoes! Yum.

I don't have any hints. Good luck!

I had a plant that we accidently cut a section off of, and I put about 12 cherry tomatoes on my windowsill and let them ripen.  It worked great.

put them in a paper bag or wrap them in newspaper the ethylene gas that is released will stay concentrated and that is what ripens the tomatoes

If they are dead green, they might not ripen too well; however if there's a bit of color they probably will.  I just put mine in a box or lined basket and lay newspaper over the top.  I don't bother wrapping them.

You can put them in a paper bag.  I did wrap mine in newspaper once and they turned red, but it took awhile.

If some are starting to turn, putting them in a sunny spot helps.  I also put mine in a basket, put newspaper on top and wait, sometimes they will keep to at least Halloween.  I use the basket thing because I got tired of wrapping them in newspaper and putting in a box.  This works just as well and I'm less likely to forget they're there, only problem is sometimes the cat thinks that's HER basket!
