I saw these at the store yesterday, said on the pack that it was some kind of pine something...

A pineberry.  

They have a slight flavor of pineapple.

Wow that's cool I have never heard of pineberrys. It looks like a strawberry dipped in white chocolate.

They are attractive!

From what I understand, they are a hybrid and produce small berries.  I personally have never grown nor eaten them.

I've never tried them but I've seen them in seed catalogues!
