but here is my Mother's Day present <3

It's a Rose Moss and I intend on keeping it alive!

What can the experienced gardeners here tell about this type of plant?

Moss roses are easy to grow in almost any kind of soil, they don't get tall, they are pretty forgiving if you forget to water them.  I planted them in full shade but they'll grow in full sun, too.  Pinch off the dead flowers to encourage more.

I got those for my Mom for Mother's Day last year. They grew beautifully and easily. She didn't do anything special with them, just watered them every few days and they were fine. They are even starting to grow back in the pot this year.
