....that directional signals come standard on all vehicles. You should use your directional, also known as a blinker, whenever you intend to take a left or right turn or when you pull off to the side of the road. The device used to control the directional is the little stick coming out of the left side of the steering wheel. Push the stick down to signal that you are going left and push it up to signal that you are going right. Signals are important because when you don't use them you often will confuse other drivers on the road; for example, if you decide to take a right and just stop with no kind of warning, and there are cars coming in the other direction so you cant turn right away, people behind you will not understand why you have stopped in the middle of the road for no apparent reason. Things like this can make driving frustrating for other motorists on the road. In addition if you do not intend to turn any time soon make sure your directional is in the off position. You're supposed to have it on 4 blinks before you start ... once you've started, we already know. !!!! I am a Walmart shopping, non vaccinating, public school sending, democrat supporting McCain, Married, Work at home mom of 4 kiddo's. |
