How are we going to get Care?

She forgot to mention that it isn't government controlled health care just government payment. Plus, it could save America $283 Billion dollars a year on over all health care cost.

I've worked with medical insurance, and I truly hope it isn't like getting Medicare in the beginning.

It sounds absolutely wonderful, universal healthcare, and I was a major advocate for it, until the word "Medicare" came into the picture... *shudder*

I think the reason that she used the word medicare is because the bill redefines medicare and expands it. Plus, you'd have to 'apply' to get onto it. aka- fill out a form giving them your address, phone number, DOB- things like that. It would be open to any American citizen though, and you only have to apply once to be on it.
