No I don't know anything about it . I was on it and I know I was told to take to my doctor before getting pregnant to discuss it but I never got or wanted to I would call your doctor..From what I read it isn't a good combo...I also believe that in the first 3 months a fetus is pretty protected I would make an appointment to come off the meds if you are pregnant..I suffer from BiPolar and I know when I was preg and not medicated I was fine it was like the pregnancy was a cure...Until the baby was born that is...

OK thanks! i am pregnant, i think I'm just about 7 or 8 weeks! i cant get an appt with my doctor till DEC. 3rd. so, i think i will just ween myself of the lexapro.  i will just have to deal with the anxiety attacks for a few months. but if worth it for a healthy baby!! thanks again!!

I was on it when I found out I was pregnant. As soon as I found out I stopped because I didn't want to take it while being preggo. Though! I started back on it about a month before my daughter was due because people who take antidepressants (for depression) are more at risk for PPD and I didn't want to have to wait 2 weeks for my medication to kick back in if it happened. You know what I mean? Trying to kill the thing before it even came. My doctor told me it was perfectly fine as long as I was on a low dose. And my daughter came out perfect and gorgeous (well I'm kind of partial.) Good Luck!

I was told by my doctor that is taken it is not good for the baby. I am currently ttc#2 and she told me to start weening off now to a low dose until I confirm I am pregnant.
