Problems with B of A.

I absolutely hate Bank of America!! I had an account with them but every time I turned around there were OD fees!! Finally the last straw was when I deposited my check on a Thurs right at 2:00 then I went shopping. It was not credited to my account until Wednesday morning!!! I had a ton of OD fees so I finally said Im done and closed my account!!!! Good luck and I hope you get your money back!

I've heard about people having lots of problems with them, but we've never had any. But that's horrible that they lost your check! I know I would expect them to pay any overdrafts and fees. Good luck!

A lost check sucks! BUT most of the horror stories I hear about any bank comes from people not knowing hot to bank. You need know the rules about everything! It's not the banks fault if people don't read what they agree to.

I had an account with them - never again! I had similar problems - but my checks were direct deposited. For some reason they would hold the direct deposit for a few days, and it ticked me off. After the 3rd time of them holding it, I just closed the account.

We had B of A deposit somone else's check into our account one time.  Besides that we've never had any problems, but we do cash checks and then deposit the cash into our accounts so that it's available immediatly.

we have had sooo many problems with them from them depositing other peoples money into our account to overdraft fees they refused to give back after withdrawing money from our account that was not authorized! they gave back the withdrawal but not the fees! i hate that bank

They said that they would reverse any overdraft fees BUT not until that check is found.  Thank goodness that the check was only for $120 and that it wasn't one of my hubby's payroll checks that are usually $2000!  But still....... with money being so tight even $120 is a lot to loose right now.

does your receipt of your account number on it. sometimes they can hit a button that brings th previous account up. so if they did that then maybe it isn't in your account.

OMG B of A sucks..my SO banks there and every 15th we transfer money from his savings to checking to pay the motorcycle..well twice the money never got transfer...once they didnt make the automatic payment and another time they couldnt track his direct depost and he got 9 overdraft charges! They suck!

I gave them all the info that was on the receipt and they filed a claim.  The thing is, the day after I made the deposit it was showing up on my account that it went through.  Then the day after that it was showing that the check was pending and it was making everything go negative.  Today the check is not even showing up on the account at all.
