My step-dad, Carlos López, was murdered on 11/1/2008 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was a soldier that served in Iraq. He has a family we have a new baby. He saw a person that needed medical help and got a medical kit and provided immediate medical attention. The man that was unconscious had been assaulted by Andrew Allen Mathis. Andrew Mathis then got into his vehicle he went into an adjacent parking in order to gain more acceleration. He then deliberately struck 7 people with his vehicle. My Step-dad was one of the people killed in this horrific act of violence. My step-dad was not involved in any way and 6 of the people were innocent good Samaritans that stopped to help someone in need. I was able to find a glimmer of relief knowing that Andrew Mathis would pay for the crimes he committed. Andrew Mathis comes from a very prominent family. His mother is a very well-known doctor in this town. Today I was given information that is absolutely unfathomable. This 24 year old murderer will be released to his parent’s custody. Andrew Mathis got out of his vehicle after killing innocent people and walked over their limbs that were protruding from underneath his vehicle.

help my family and I by keeping this monster behind bars by signing this petition. Thank you for your time.
