alright so this morning i woke up, and it just feels really uncomfortable and itchy...down there. i took a shower last night and used a new body wash, could it be irritation from that? is there anything i can use to ease the discomfort and itchiness? could i possibly put a little of my son's a&d down there? any suggestions appreciated ladies!
okay it's been a couple of days. i haven't used the new body wash and i've been putting a very very thin layer of a&d down there. but ti's not getting any better. and now, there's even more discomfort, it's itchier, and now it's a little swollen and red. idk what's going on?! urgent care is closed now and the clinic isn't open til monday. is there anything i can do til then?

by sweetness4u2day on Nov. 21, 2008 at 6:54 PMI would say the A & D should help a lot. It sounds like an irritation from the new soap. Don't use it again and see if it feels better. If not sounds like an infection, either bacterial or yeast.

by KelseyNovy87 on Nov. 21, 2008 at 6:56 PMi'm thinking it's just irritation. i have down there every other day and i've never had this problem. and there's no discharge (well, other than normal) and no odor, so it's not yeast infection. i'll try a&d and see if that helps. and tonight when i shower i won't use that new soap down there. thanks ladies!

by jacejenkins on Nov. 21, 2008 at 6:56 PMI am highly sensitive and I can not use any kind of body wash or scented soaps around my vagina. I would soak in the tub with some oatmeal. Then I would rinse very well and use some kind of cream....a&d works fine. Balmex is also really good. If you notice any swelling, burning or itching then you should try some over the counter yeast infection medicine. |
