Wow! Something some parents with Teens should read......really long

Ok. So I work for a security company for a building that does events such as weddings, school functions and church serves. Well long story short there was a high school dance tonight. And I have never been so appalled in my life about a high school staff..... First off once they got to the dance they were not allowed to leave the floor they were on. That was fine by me. Only a lot of things happened that shouldn't have happened.

1. A female student came down to the lobby and told the staff that her dress was too tight and that she had another one in her friends car. Well long story short she liked the dress she was wearing more then the one in the car so she wanted that one for pics. Well I could tell she was having some problems with is and it was tight. So a MALE teacher went with her to her friends car with a friend. That was ok but what wasn't ok it that the female student changed her dress in the car with a MALE teacher right there and it wasn't like there wasn't a bathroom or female teachers there to go with her and her friend.

2. It was a formal winter dance so they stood by the door to make sure everyone was formal. Well with how much everything is these days not all parents can afford formal attire. Well they won't let students into the dance with nice jeans on but they would let these little girls in with dresses hardly over there a**. Seriously if most of them would have even breathed in to sneezzed you would have saw everything.

3. They have a coat check in. About 2 hours into the dance they closed the door where it was at and SEARCHED through all there purses and other items. Without any of there knowledge. And whatever they found such as alcohol, drugs, weapons or I heard even a nail file they confiscated the items. Then when the students went to collect there stuff they were told that when they got to school on Monday they would be suspended or expelled. WHAT happened to a search warrant, or intent to search, or parents permission.

4. There was a lesbian couple there. Yes I may not agree with it but it is there right to have sexual preference. Well I noticed boy and girl couples kissing and they were left alone. But when they did, wow 5 teachers escorted them out to the hallway and made them leave. What happen to no discrimination. This is a public school.

5. There was a lot more but I am sure your tired of reading by now but my final one is when the dance was over and they all got down stairs the teachers kicked them outside to the crib to wait for their parents. Mind you it was 39 degrees outside tonight and there was plenty of room in the lobby for the kids that didn't have a fancy limo or a car or if there parents weren't there yet. Instead one of the teachers actually went outside and made fun of them for being cold and they wouldn't even let a boy come in a use the bathroom. 

I am so enraged. I just couldn't believe it. Just wow. I am in total awe.

Just really needed to vent.
