Spam: the food, not the junkmail lol

my husband likes it,im still not brave enough to eat it,,,but i guess im a hypocrite because i eat hot dogs,,go figure lol

YES! My MIL gave us some once a long time ago when we were out of groceries and DH was laid off. I fed it to the cat LOL. DH and I can't eat it.

My DF was telling me he heard that too about spam.  I dont know about adding wine to make it a nice meal.   I had a roommate that was from Guam and they cook with spam a lot so I got use to eating it when I lived with them.  They use to fry up some spam with toast and eggs for breakfast.  One thing that I still make is fried rice with the spam, everyone is usually hesitant when they hear it is spam but everyone that has tied it really likes it.  I only like it really in the fried rice I wouldnt start using it in replacement of other meat.  I usually try to stock up whenever I see a really good deal on meat and just freeze it.  So we havent had to cut back on the real meat. 

i'm sorry, but i like spam.  lol  we are mexican, so my gramma fries beans and makes home made tortillas and she fries the spam also.  it's real good!  but some people have some weird recipes with spam that i know i will NEVER try!  lol

~~My kids grandma , who is Filipino makes the kids SPAM AND white rice ...THEY LOVE IT??? i CANT EVEN ,HANDLE THE SMELL OF IT!! Guess its a big deal over in Hawaii , you can get SPAM at McDonald's??
