When we went to church this morning that were talking about how they were having an Angel Tree for kids that needed things for Christmas. My kids both went and took a name and are going to put their allowance toward the present. I am so proud of them. By the way they are 6 and 9.

We had to use Toys For Tots 2 yrs ago and I felt bad for needing the help but my mom told me that I shouldn't because I have always donated to them. I can remember as a kid I'd see the Marines standing outside doing their toy drives and asking my mom if we could donate and she would. Once I started working I started donating toys too. I think it's great that they have programs like this. ___________________
	by Dzyre1115 on Nov. 23, 2008 at 1:46 PM We do this with my kids they all have to do a Christmas Charity Chore once a week and the dollar they earn for that chore goes into a special box so we can collect for the giving tree at the Christmas Season. It keeps them from thinking only about themselves at Christmas.
