I think a bulb has blown on my monitor it is still lit just dim now can you replace bulbs in monitor or does it have to be totally replaced.

Hubby says yes and yes... You can get the bulb replaced, but he said it is generally cheaper to buy another monitor.  He says to check to see if its under warranty

ty so much  it is not under warrenty so will maybe get a new monitor for myself for christmas lol

I'm not totally positve, but I think monitors now are like tevlevision sets.  Probably no bulb but transistors or something.  Sorry I couldn't be of more help.  Monitors are fairly cheap though.
