by bigmamacita on Dec. 1, 2008 at 2:45 PMTeenagers, what would we do withouth that special stage. Your the mother it dont matter if you hurt his feelings but yea you should of just had a talk with him. If you want me to be honest though he probably just wanted a free ticket to stay home. It's awesome you have CM to vent...WOhoo to us mothers..

by Se7enTh1rt3en on Dec. 1, 2008 at 2:45 PMI think you both overreacted. When you both calm down, have a talk with him - apologize for blowing up, and just explain to him why things happened the way they did. Keep in mind, he's a 15yo boy who'll look for ANY excuse NOT to go to school...LOL! When you fully explain things to him, he'll prolly understand - though he'll still be upset that he had to go to school when his brother didn't. |

by equinox on Dec. 1, 2008 at 2:47 PMAhhh, jealousy... Well, I probably would have been ticked off and yelled, too, then reconsidered, apologized, and tried to spend time with him to let him know I care about him, too, even if litle bro had to go to the doctor's and is getting more of my time right now. |

by jkelley21 on Dec. 1, 2008 at 2:49 PMNO you did not!!!! You did nothing wrong! He is STILL a child in your house, he needs to treat you with respect. First what is he showing your son??? How to yell and be rude to mom. My 15yr old neice lives with us now and we have had issues with her attitude and yelling at us. My kids were doing great with this until she came to live here and she is also learning that her actions rub off on them.
