Last night i found out im Pregnant with #2 as of right now My Fiance and i arnt married but we have been engaged for 3 1/2 years and were gonna go to the JOP before the years was over. I was on his insurance with work but since he company changed insurances the new one wouldnt cover me as a "partner" SO my question is since we havnt been to the DR yet and im not going for a little while anyway, and we get married as we planned to and i get on his insurance will it be considered a Pre-existing condition??

I don't think so.  But here's a bump.  I'm not too sure on that.  Insurance companies will do ANYTHING to not have to pay...so you never know.

With my insurance they can't consider pregnancy preexisting condition. I would look in to the insurance plan, but until then try not to get anything on your medical record about it just in case.

Not if it hasn't been confirmed by a doctor, my friend was 16 weeks when she and her husband got married and then she went on his insurance and to the dr.

I have never heard of them counting pregnancy as a pre existing condition.  But who knows now a days?

Hmmm...I don't know. Maybe if you got the doctor to write you a note saying you just barely found out. I don't know. Will his insurance not cover pre existing conditon??

I'm not sure about the pre-existing condition thing, but I know that alot of insurance companies won't cover pregnancy appts until after being married for a year. Hopefully that's not the case w/ yours. If so, are you eligible for medicaid? They cover you all the way to your 6-week checkup.

They really cant consider a pregnancy a pre-existing condition. As far as I know pregnancy is covered. Especially since your not going to the dr it probably wont get confirmed before you get married if its this month. But even so insurances I have dealt with will cover a pregnancy. My sister in law was 6 months when she lost state insurance so they got married and she was added and they covered it. So as far as I know you should be fine. But like they've said before me who knows now a days what they will say.

i was 13 weeks pregnant with my son when my job was bought by a big company. they required us to switch insurance companies, and the new company considered my pregnacy a pre existing condition...

i know that wasnt much of a help but i'll bump this for ya!
