Yep, just curious again. What do you set your thermostat to in the winter?

Well I live in South Florida so I hardly use the heat but when it does get down into the 40's I set it on 69-70.

i set it at 68 while we're awake unless we go out in the snow. then i'll turn it up to like 72ish for a bit while we warm up. lol. when we got to bed i turn it down to around 60-62ish. our rooms are usually around 65 all day.

68 when people are in the house

60 when they are not

60 at night

Our house has never gotten down to 60 with all the bodies and our super insulated attic!

68 at bedtime and during the day, depending on how cold it really is, btw 70-72. Usually only for a little bit though, b/c it can get really stuffy in here. My heat is at 68 right now.

I usually have it set to 68 during the day when we're home and turn it down to 64 at night.  But first thing in the morning when I get up I usually crank up the heat to 69 or 70 to get the house nice and warm before I wake up the girls.  There is nothing worse than getting out of a nice warm bed when it's cold in the house.

I will readily admit I am spoiled and our thermostat is set at 74 all year.  I don't change it and neither does DH.  We had the thermostat war and he finally relented when it dawned on him I wasn't ever going to give up the fight.  It's not a big deal in the winter when our electric bill runs about 80 dollars a month.  In the summer when our bill is about 300 because of the AC that's when it stings.

The AC bills in the summer get us too LOL but it's hubby, not me. He has to have the temp 70 or below in the summer..
