I have a interview at a hospital for a CNA position tomorrow. I live in Utah ( I know that shouldnt matter, but I believe it does) What should I wear? A dress/skirt outfit or a pants suit? I think if I dont wear a dress/skirt then the interviewer will know that Im not LDS ( I know it shouldn't matter, but I think it does) I just really want to make a good impression! I need this job!! I dont really have a great dress/skirt outfit but I do have a nice pants suit. Im over thinking I know but I need HELP!!!!!

update......

Well, I did it! I wore the black suit with a green button top, my hubby said I looked good "like a lawyer" he said. The interview went good I think, I know some of the same people that the guy interviewing me did so I think that helped. Im nervous though b/c I was told that there were 90 applicants to the job!! So Im going to cross my fingers and pray that I get a call next week from them saying "CONGRATS!!"......... But now I have a bigger dilemma, I got another interview from another hospital on Thursday ( which is AWSOME!!) But when the lady called she said she wanted to do a short interview, then show me around the place a bit. What does that sound like to you?? I just put my application in last night on-line I was super surprised to hear from them so quickly. Im just so excited to hopefully have a job soon (keeping my fingers crossed)

Wish me luck!

WELL I GUESS I PICKED THE RIGHT OUTFIT (THANKS FOR YOU HELP!!)

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I GOT THE JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IM SOOOO EXCITED I JUST CANT STAND IT!!

I always think skirts with hose and heels are best for women for an interview.

Don't wear a long shirt as a 'dress'. The last job interview I went to that is what the woman who came out of the office before me was wearing. No joke.. one of those long shirts you wear with skinny jeans.

It's amazing how people don't hold themselves to the standards they set for others.

Pants suits. Generally look more professional than skirts. Plus you not being LDS does not matter, you can't be hired or not hired due to your religious belief.

I am a liberal, non-CIO, formula feeding because it was necessary, pro-choice, pro-gay and straight unions, socialist, unitarian universalist, theosophist, free range, educated single mother of one beautiful girl who is my entire life.

i think a black skirt suit is the safest bet, can you find a skirt that will match your suit jacket?  that is waht i did when i was hired at my job,  hose,  conservative heels,  hair done and curled but mostly pulled back and the biggest thing is confidence.... believe in yourself,  get as much of the paperwork they need from you ready before the interview and give it to them (background check, tb test, etc...) i think that helped me,  i was basically ready to work when i walked in and told them i wanted the job, i was able to do anything they asked of me... i knew i would not really live up tp that promise but be a politican, a salesman and market yourself....
