It's not an ear infection.....

My daughter sticks her finger in ear. It's always her right ear, and I've taken her to the doc multiples times and it's never an ear infection.

She also has a little bit of.. I dunno.. Crust? on the outside behind her ear. I always think it's just dirt and I wash it when she takes a bath but it never goes away. I don't like to pick it off because i don't want to get it infected if it's not just dirt.

How old is your dd?  Is it still "cradle cap"? which can actually last a long time after baby-hood.  Does she have eczema?  My youngest ds had eczema when he was very little and he had itchy, flaky skin all over.
