Please pray this father trying to be there for his son. I didnt delete names because there are no last names listed and its a very known situation around this area. Its even went as far as people selling braclets with their names on them to raise money for court costs. I deleted the judges name tho. Please read this and pray for justice with his son. This was wrote by his best friend and put in a group on Facebook. No bashing please.

Andrew is fighting for his son, Rylan. He has been denied seeing his son since June 2008. Andrew found out that he was the biological father around 60 days after Rylan was born through DNA testing. Since that point Andrew stepped up, wanted to take full responsibility and be the parent of Rylan. The potential adopting parents allowed Andrew to see and bond with his son within the first 2-3 months until he stopped the adoption process. All Andrew wanted to do was be with his son, he didn’t care about anything else. The potential adopting parents have denied Andrew from seeing his son and have ignored all text messages and phone calls. Andrew has been fighting for Rylan through the legal system since May 2008. He has pushed hard to see his son using the legal system.

Andrew and the mother of Rylan had a great relationship until we had a court session in March. She would keep Andrew up to date on Rylan, send pictures and let him know how she really felt. They talked everyday. She is also a victim in this situation. But since that time, her phone has been blocked and she has stopped all communications with Andrew.

This is not about determining if the potential adopting parents would be good parents or if they love Rylan, that's given! This is about what is right! Rylan is Andrew’s son and he has a God given right to be his father. Bottom line, Andrew stepped up, took responsibility and he should be entitled to his son! How can anyone deny that right to Andrew?

I feel that Judge ***** was wrong in his decision. He based his decision solely on the “Putative Father Registry”. For those of you that do not know about the registry, you must sign within 30 days of birth. If you fail to sign the registry, then you shall be deemed to have given an irrevocable implied consent in any adoption proceeding.
http://www.helplinelaw.com/usa-statutes/alabama/Title%2026%20INFANTS%20AND%20INCOMPETENTS./Chapter%2010C%20PUTATIVE%20FATHER%20REGISTRY. It doesn’t matter if you knew about it or not. We did not know this law existed.

If the "Putative Father Registry" did not exist, then Andrew would be with Rylan today. The “Putative Father Registry” is un-constitution violating the 14th Amendment of the United States of America.

If this was your son or your grandson, what would you do? I don't want any father in the future to ever go through this. Please let your voice be HEARD!!! This will never be over until Rylan comes home!!!!
