I am wondering where theese abriviations come from and what they stand for. Is it just somethilg that ppl online use or is it actually part of the english language?

I do know what they mean but i dont understand what the first D stands for!?

I never seen them being used anywhere else but here.

FYI- english is not my mother language.

the first D is "dear"

as in a term of endearment

and for english not being your first language, you have better grammar and spelling than some of these other moms, haha.

BUMP - Bring Up My Post!  When someone posts "bump" in a reply to a post, they are bringing the whole thread to the top of the group so more people will see it.  The posts on the group are in order of when the last reply was added.

AC = Adopted Child
AF = Aunt Flo
AP= Attachment Parenting
ATM = At the Moment
AYT = Are You There
BBL = Be Back Later
BF = Boy Friend (also sometimes best friend, breast-feeding or breakfast, depending on context!!)
BFN = Big Fat Negative
BFP = Big Fat Positive
BIL = Brother-In-Law
BL = Belly Laugh
BRB = Be Right Back
BTW = By The Way
 
CIO = Crying It Out

CYL = Catch Ya' Later
DD = Dearest Daughter, Darling Daughter, etc

I use DH depending on context. Some times if im complaining about him its Dumb Husband lol!
