what kinds of activities are you willing to let your child experience?

I am thinking about playing the drums or little league or bitty basketball..

of course I'll just introduce it to my son and he'll decide if he wants to continue in those or choose something else.

you guys?

My 10 year old is currently taking piano. She's does swimming in the summer. She's also tried soccer and tball..

My 6 year old does swimming in the summer. We don't have her in an activity currently. She started kindergarten this year and it's a full day program. We want to give her a chance to get used to a full day schedule before we add another activity. She wants to do tball this summer...

Who I am as a mom can not be expressed in a paragraph. It is expressed by who my children will become.

My 7 yr old is currently in girlsccouts, basketball, afterschool  bible club and ballett. lol. We are very busy people but she loves it all. She started in sports around 3 and has been doing any and every sport since then. As soon as my 2 yr old turns 3 we'll be signing him up for the all sports class. Its a intro class for little ones on all the basic sports like football basketball. And he'll do kickball in the spring. My husband cant wait till he's old enough to play football. lol. Whatever my kids think they'll  like we'll sign them up they have plenty of time to find the thing they  really like and are good at. No need to focus on one sport right now we let them try them all out.  I'm happy that they are just being active kiddos.

You can always look into tumbling or kindermusik classes they start at 12 months. They are parent/child classes if you have a gymboree or a gymnastics center in your area maybe even the ymca. THere are tons of mommy and me classes  for your sons age also check your local library my son goes to storytime at ours once a week. Its for all kids under the age of 5. He loves that and gets to play with other kids for an hour or two.
