I didn't follow that post at all...and this may have been brought up in it, I don;t know
but
I was sitting here wondering why a mother can have a child, decide to not be part of the child's life and give it up for adoption...at no cost to her.
A father, doesn't have that right. He can't say..well I never wanted children so have a good time with the baby. No he has to pay for the child for 18years.
Why? Not really fair....or is it?
This has been dicussed before but it's okay. :)
I agree, it's NOT fair.

"Religion is dangerous because it allows human beings, who don't have all the answers, to think they do."
~ The Dems and the Reps remind me of my kids ~
One is always pointing out the bad things that the other is doing in hopes that I don't notice all the bullshit he is trying to get away with...
I'm not fooled by my own kids and I'm not fooled by Politicians.
Double standard just like everything else, when it comes to men. NO its not fair in the least that a woman gets an out, whatever that may be, but the man doesn't he is always forced in some way to be a father, even if he doesn't want to. So then you end up with a guy who resents his kids and their mother because he was forced to be a parent with someone he didn't want to be with, or just in general didn't want to be a parent and the ones who suffer the most out of all of it are the kids. Then again you'll get the women who say, oh well when a man can have babies, lol that's not even a valid argument.

if a father KNOWS HE NEVER WANTED CHILDREN why is he having unprotected sex!!!!!!!!!
Same can be said for the woman too right? The point is that SHE has an out, while a man doesn't.

Maybe he was tricked or the protection failed. I agree that a man that has clearly voiced that he doesn't want children should be able to give up his rights and responsibility.
