• I had not been tested for some time. When I went in for initial gyno exam at OB they tested me for obvious reasons. Before that I was tested every year until I was with my DH.

  My DH has been tested too. We both had hiv tests as well.

• I've been pregnant and/or gotten my annual papsmear w/ STD testing every year since I started having sex.  Since DH is military, he also gets one every year.  Sadly, I know a lot of people who have STDs.

• DH and I were both tested right before we started dating. We have not been tested since because we have only been with each other. Prior to that time, I'd never been tested because I hadn't had very many partners and they ones I did have, had been tested recently and we used protection.

  Just wondering, but is there a reason you haven't been tested? I know many women don't get tested when they've only been with one person and they marry them or whatnot. I was just curious.

• I have had pap's done since i was 16 and they do test for certain std's during that. Then when I found out that my husband (soon to be ex) was cheating on me I went to my gyn and was tested for everything, even hiv test and all of those were negative.

• i get tested every year. I have a high risk job that exposes me to all kinds of creepy nasty stuff so i get the full blood work up, but as for like the vag crap, not in a while, but i have no need. I know whats going in my spot and its clean

• I have with each pregnancy, you never know if something may have  been dormant, etc.  Tested Neg. every time. 

  My husband never had been tested until about 3 years ago...he was sure he had "something."  When the results came back negative on everything, he insisted they must be wrong, and wanted to be retested.  We had our doctor on the phone, he wanted to talk to me...he asked me if I was "concerned  about anything" and I had to explain to the doctor that my hubby was a homophob, and he had just done a job for a gay couple, and that if he gave my husband a Rx for anything, even a sugar pill, he would be all better!  And what do you know, it worked.  And during that whole incident, which took about 3 weeks to get all the results back, my husband wouldn't have sex with me because I was pregnant, and he didn't want to take any chances.

•  I was tested when I got pregnant with DD. DH was my first... and he was tested around then too. Came back clean. After that no need. We are both aithfull.
