Mine is afraid of snakes. If we were in a scary movie he would protect me and the kids from anything but snakes. We would be screwed. I have a funny story too. One night the kids were in their room watching tv on their beds. Our youngest had fell asleep with us on the couch. So I asked dh to take him and put him in bed. He starts yelling at the kids to stay on their beds and our 2 year old is dangling from his arms. I go in to see why he is yelling. Turns out there was a snake on the floor. I start laughing as I go to it all the while he's saying it moved I saw it move. Just to ease him I step on it before I pick it up. I forgot the kids found a rubber snake at their grannies.

  • My DH is terrified of styrofoam. Like if I pull it out of a box and it scrapes against the side, he throws up. It's the weirdest thing ever.

  • Bees. He is allergic to them. I have seen him scream like a little girl and run from bees. (He is 6 feet tall and 280 lbs).

  • My brother is like that with fleece. Once his now wife wrapped a fleece blanket around him and he got rock still. She took it off him and he didn't move or talk for 3 hrs. We knew he didn't like it but just didn't know it was that bad.

  • Isn't that weird? DH will actually get to the point where he feels like he can't breathe, and  has to leave the room if I am unpacking something will styrofoam in it. Plates and cups and things like that are okay as long as they don't scrape against stuff, or he will freak out.  It's just bizarre.

  • Spiders.

He's woken up in the middle of the night a few times yelling "What the F---!!" thinking they're crawling on him.
