Dog in Labor *UPDATE* We have Puppies!!!! PICTURES!!!!!!

 So we realized about a month ago that Kierra, our black lab was pregnant. She has had 2 sets of puppies before(bred) but this was unplanned. Apparently she got out of our backyard and hubby found her with a HUGE boxer dog.

Well, I go to check on her today because she has been acting funny and she came to me, went into my room, laid down on the floor, is panting HARD and shivering really bad.

You'd think by now i'd know the signs, but DH is usually the one with her when she is in labor, she's his baby. He insists on being with her. But right now he is gone for work.

Is she in labor?

 

So far, 5. But she is still delivering. They are CUTE. 4 are all black but one is B&W. I think my hubby wants to keep him. Will post pics as soon as I can.

Sounds like it.  Do you have a place fixed up for her to have the pups?

yeah, I went and fixed her up a spot in our garage for to have them. put down some towels and blankets.

Oh yeah, i'll post as soon as she has them. I can't wait to see them, I bet they are gonna be CUTE.

Sounds like it! OUr dog got out of our yard and we never realized that she was pregnant, until she was having the puppies, OOPS. She did well though, they know what to do
