What is wrong with you people - Fort Hood Post

• I haven't really seen any of the arguments surrounding how he is being described, but one word that definitely fits him is murderer. Its horrible what he did to those soldiers, and the pain he has caused their families.

• We are Army as well.  It is easy for people to just label him as a terrorist and that gives them all the answers.  The problem my husband and I have with that is that it doesn't address other issues that may need to be addressed.  The military needs to recognize when someone is showing symptoms of stress and is capable of things like this.  How much is too much for certain people to handle?  It is a very important thing that needs to be addressed.  As long as these sick people are slipping through the cracks, things like this will continue to happen.  It isn't just people with Arabic names and terrorists that may start shooting people one day.  It could be ANY soldier that has been pushed to their limit.  That needs to be addressed and not swept away just because it is easier to say it is all part of a terrorist plot.

• I've even seen arguements about how the president was talking on the tv. Why he changed his name and having his religion bashed.

  People have been killed by one of our soilders. Who cares what this guys name or religion was? People are hurt and will never see their families or friends again. And the people who were injured are going to be looking over their shoulder for the rest of their lives. It just seems really childish to be having pointless arguements.

• my husband is army and he is stationed at fort gordon a friend of mine is an mp there he said they had to kill a kid a few months back because he tried to do the same thing im glad nothing has happened while my husband has been there my friends sister and her boyfriend are there she was hysterical cause she couldnt get ahold of him for hours because of lockdown this is horrid it sucks im just so glad my husband wasnt there and that her boyfriend wasnt hurt i feel for the families who did loose someone care more about the people who died than wether he was a terrorist or not theres no evidence only speculation

  Agreed.  Yeah i was gonna say i don't give a rat's ass what the guy's name is or what his religion was in the other post.  But i didn't know how well that would go over.
