Nope, not a debate... not with me at least! Feel free to argue amongst yourselves. I am actually thinking about switching to cloth diapers, but I would like some women with some experience in the matter to let me in on some hints and brands, or if you chose not to, why? Thanks!!
I use cloth on my daughter...though hopefully not too much longer! (we are potty training)
I use Haute Pockets from www.nickisdiapers.com
I love em. She has never had a diaper rash, they are safe, and plus they are super cute!

I am using cloth diapers with my son and will be with my daughter when she graces us with her presence. We have already saved a bunch of money, and the diapers are so cute! We are using some pocket diapers we bought off of ebay (Sweetdoll Baby, Babyland, Kawalli Baby), and they work just perfectly. What''s funny is the only diaper that wouldn't leak on us was the huggies diaper. They leaked at night. (My son sleeps 12 hrs at night) The cloth diapers don't!
that is personal preference.
I LOVED velcro early on, but then my son discovered how to take them off (around 1yr) so now its snaps all the way (those he has gotten a couple of those off, its at least harder, LOL)
I have Bunny bums, Drybees, Ella Bellabottoms, Wahmies and one Goodmama, all the rest are mama made. I prefer fitteds with snaps with a fleece or wool cover :)

Awesome, I know very little about them so all info helps!
we originally switched to cloth because dd#2 was rashing out in every brand of sposies we tried. We couldn't afford the fancy all in one or pockets so we did prefolds and velcro and snap covers as well as the traditional pull on covers. The prefolds and covers work better than any disposable I have ever used. They never leak and are easy to wash. The cheap system we use is just as cute and easy as the fancier diapers. We got some pocket diapers as a gift. We use gerber wash cloths as wipes and they work great too. We got our diapers from www.cottonbabies.com and were really happy with what we got.

I've been using cloth with my daughter for a year. I highly recommend it :)
Ive been looking at different styles, materials, brands... All in one diapers, diaper covers, inserts, pre folded, ones with "velcro", ones with snaps... Help! lol
I am a fan of all-in-ones and pockets. Pockets are good because you can customize the absorbency, but stuffing them can get old. For the most part I stick with AIO's. Pre-folds can be good but I personally despise them. I would also try to stick with one-size diapers that grow with your baby, they can save even more money. As far as fastening options, I prefer aplix or velcro over snaps or ties and things of that nature. The brand I am most fond of is Bum Genius, but there are plenty of great diapers out there. Also a great site is diaperswappers.com, they have tons of great info, reviews, WAHMs, etc. Good luck!
I am also trying to switch to cloth diapers. The start up cost seems to be a bit pricey, but I think it will be worth it in the long run. I just bought the G diapers that have both the flushable liners or cloth. So far don't like them, they seem to rub wrong, but maybe I'm doing it wrong to.
