Someones a little opinionated ha!?!?! It's ones like this that think their marrige is perfect and than wham he's out the door with the babysitter because he couldn't stand your butt! Good luck with that.

how much time does she spend on cafe mom? maybe she needs to move away from the computer and talk to her husband instead of strangers. it might help

When the family is being neglected b/c the husband's main priority is apparently video games, it puts an incredible strain on a marriage. It's not the video games themselves (I like to play some games occasionally too), it's the fact that it takes priority over the family.

    Quoting LizzieAnnesMom:

No i dont think so. i wouldnt do it myself because i dont care if he plays video games. but divorcing your husband because he plays them all the time is stupid as well. if you divorce because he plays video games all the time then obvously the marriage wasnt that strong.

and the "you" is a generalization. not speaking about you specifically.

    Quoting graciejoe:

That's kind of an imature and controlling way to handle the situation.  Don't you think?

    Quoting LizzieAnnesMom:

really?? you are going to blame a game system for breaking up your marriage. hello!!! wake up!! when he goes to work hide the damn thing!! if he comes home and wants to play tell him why you hid it but not where you hid it.

  •  My husband is putting his together right now.  I'm livid.  My bday was 6 days ago.  Did I get a card?  Present?  Even just him saying, "happy birthday."  HELL NO!!! Yet he goes out and gets an xbox.

  • Oh my god, it's an epidemic! Is there a vaccine out there? If my DH isn't playing Final Fantasy, he's playing Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. And I'm on here! Is this supposed to be how a marriage goes?

    Quoting raegansmom:

Same here but mine is playing Madden

    Quoting jessiesluv:

honey, im with ya on that one!!! dh is playing RIGHT FRIGGIN NOW instead of spending time with me, so im on here.

I think we should start a "Gamers Widow" group. lmao!
