iud out, bleeding for 17 days!!!!!may be tmi/vent

omg!!! so, i had to get the iud out for health reasons, and my dr has decided(after trying all sorts of different bc's, and the iud being the least hormonal)that my body just cant handle the hormones.... i get sick, i get migrains(excisive and masivly painfull ones), my breasts leaked, amoung a whole lot of other things happining...

so, doc and i, and my hubs, decided, to get it out... after a long discusion, with hubs(then later doc)we decided to use condoms for a few months, let my body re adjust, then we will see if we get prego....

i had to go to the er a week ago.... i had been passing massive clots(afew the size of ping pong balls) and in the evening on friday, about 10 days after the remuvle, i had masive cramps, to the point i could not walk.... i was light headed, dizy, my pulse was very high, and i had a temp.... we had to call an ambulance...(that was embarrasing)casue i could not drive, and my friend could not take me(neither of our cars fit my two kids, and hers)..... anywhos, i cant member what the er dr said, but apparently i have some 'syndrom' with my uterouse that causes it to go out of wack.......

so, ya, i have been bleeding for 17 days so far, but today, it seems to have finally let up!!! i have a drs apt on the 19th, but im hopeing to not be bleeding at all by then....

sorry, kinda venting

im sick, natiouse, have a migrain, and am tired of bleeding!!!!im hungry all the time(apparently from blood loss)

 awww, i am sorry... i have an iud as well and was thinking about getting it taken out... i sure hope i dont bleed that long. i hope you feel better!

Im so sorry your feeling so misareble...I do hope you get some good news froom your Dr.  =)

I also could not tolerate any sort of BC...and I tried it all....the patch...the pill...the Depo-shot...you name it....it all made me sick...I also ended up in the E.R a few times....not bcuz of hemorraghe...more due to blood pressure and heart palpitations....Bbbbbrrrrr

ya, i have had so many health problems, and i can pinpoint them starting around the time i started bc...... then got worse and worse over the years....

my family thinks we should not have more kids, cause of it, and im trying to explain to them that im not going to just have another baby, im going to make sure that if im off bc, im healthy...

i stopped bleeding yesturday, and today, i ahve felt better then i have in a LONG time..... sure, im sore from the walk at the zoo, but damn..... i feel so much better, lol
