tonights random question

something in the movie im watching made me think of this. okay so your living alone in an apartment, and maybe your an older woman and ur scared. so you hear the couple next door arguing alot, but it also sounds like the man is doing more of the yelling, and theres alot of commotion, as if maybe hes hitting her or throwing things, like there might be a domestic violence situation, but of course your not positive since u cant see thru walls, its loud, but it could just be a loud fight. so ur not sure if u should call the police because A. it might not be domestic violence B. ur scared he might know its u and retaliate c. she could always call the cops herself(if she could get to the phone) D. she could always leave him(there are shelters for this)(of course given the opportunity) but at the same time u dont want to do nothing and possibly have this woman be killed

As Unfortunate as this is, I honistly wouldn't get involved. I know Ive been in  arguments at times and it has gotten a bit loud but who hasn't. People need to resolve their own issues. Unless it involves kids, i think it's a "mind your own" situation

I agree....the only reason I would get involved is if I actually heard the words HELP....or children crying !

I agree too...

But statistically more people respond to "FIRE!" than "HELP!"...so I'd scream both...if it were me in the situation...
