I have a question and can't see a doctor till morning. It's quite embarassing so I'm not gonna post it here.

K. So I have these blister things on my bottom. from the bottom of my vagina to my bum. That's what my BF described them as. Because I had had them (like two of them) since wed. Then when I washed tonight i noticed more. It hurts to pee too. Then when it hits the blister things I scream in pain. AND last night after sex (it hurt.) I bled. Like I thought it was my period but I'm not bleeding anymore 0.o..... So I'm freaked out and my poor SO is all freaked out.

ETA: They're itchy too sometimes.

UPDATE: So my SO is taking me to the urgent care clinic because of some insurance stuff that I can't see a regular doctor. We're leaving once his pants dry lol.

UPDATE: So I'm pretty much devestated. I have G.H. My SO is being very supportive and doesn't seem to mind. Although my plans for future children are now on hold for a few more years instead of 1 or 2 yrs. They gave me valtrex for ten days to clear me up. I cried for a while before I left. I'm just simply devestated.

  • I must say I'd find it much easier to post online on CM about my problem then go to the doctor about it. Hehe...

  • I'm a student. It sounds like herpes to me.

What are the symptoms of genital herpes?

Once exposed to the virus, there is an incubation period that generally lasts 3 to 7 days before a lesion develops. During this time, there are no symptoms and the virus cannot be transmitted to others. An outbreak usually begins within two weeks of initial infection and manifests as an itching or tingling sensation followed by redness of the skin. Finally, a blister forms. The blisters and subsequent ulcers that form when the blisters break, are usually very painful to touch and may last from 7 days to 2 weeks. The infection is definitely contagious from the time of itching to the time of complete healing of the ulcer, usually within 2-4 weeks. However, as noted above, infected individuals can also transmit the virus to their sex partners in the absence of a recognized outbreak.

"Tolerance means I treat you with respect even when we totally disagree. You're a child of God. You're worthy of dignity. We may disagree, but we're going to tolerate each other, and even more than that, we can be friends. You're never going to please everybody. I don't need to agree with somebody in order to love them." - Rick Warren
