Has anyone ever used gripe water? I was in cvs tonight and seen little tummies makes it and it says it helps with colic, gas and hiccups.  Just curious who has tried it and if its worth the 13.00 to spend on it.  Also i just found online Hylands makes a dissolvable colic tab.  Anyone ever try those. I know when my DD was teething i used Hylands teething tabs and they worked great on her. So just curious if the colic ones are any good.  Ijust want to find somthing to help calm and sooth my baby boy.

  • Lets just say that I swear by that stuff! It worked wonders for my son. If only I had known about it years ago when I had my daughter. I would defintely recommend it to everyone, its better than mylicon.

  • I love gripe water, but will never buy the little tummies version. Ever.

Heres why just look at the ingrediants list: the first set (red) is little tummies, the second is baby bliss (blue) and the third is wellements (black). We usually buy the wellements or get the homiopathic Colic Calm offline.

    INGREDIENTS:
    - Sodium (as Sodium Bicarbonate)
    - Ginger Extract (Zingiber officinale) (root)
    - Fennel Extract (Foeniculum vulgare) (seed)

    OTHER INGREDIENTS:
Purified Water, Fructose, Vegetable Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Natural Ginger Flavor, Citric Acid, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.

Sodium Bicarbonate, Organic Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Extract, Organic Foeniculum Vulgare Seed (Fennel) Extract, Deionized Water, Vegetable Glycerin, Fructose, Natural Fennel Flavor, Citric Acid, Citrus Bioflavonoid Extract, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract.

Agave Fructose, citric Acid, Organic Chamomile, Ginger and Fennel Extracts, glycerin, sodium bicarbonate, purified water

I agree the mylicon has never done a damn thing for either of my kids. I even give to my 6 year old when she has a tummy ache and with in minutes she is feeling better!
